Amazing adaptation of the radio series/ books. I would love to see them remaster this on bluray.

Great comedy, brilliantly written. Probably not much science but with a deep meaning nonetheless. Loved the book even more.
Of course Arthur Dent is wearing a dressing gown. This adaptation follows the plot of the original radio series pretty faithfully, as well as using most of the cast. Trillian played by Sandra Dickinson as scatty is one jarring mis-calculation. If you haven't listened to the audio versions, then you should. Better still, read the books by Douglas Adams and leave the 2005 film. Just leave it alone.
Much better than the big screen version. One can watch again and again, unraveling the graphic displays from the Book. (Including the dead swans poem.)
