I’m only watching this show because I am a fan of Giancarlo Esposito. The series has gone downhill after the first episode. I’m willing to bet that the person who wrote the first episode didn’t write the second or third because the character ‘Horse’ isn’t as sophisticated as he looked in the first episode.
1st episode was good. Second episode not so good. Ivan mbakop with that stupid toothpick in hus mouth had to go. So hard to watch that guy it almost enough to stop watching
Won't be going back for season 2!
Had high expectations because of Giancarlo E. but first episode did it. They should not have to cast a Caucasian woman as the mother of a very black family because of diversity. The acting of Giancarlo is dissapointing.
When there is a excellent show like Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul we somehow expect following shows of the actors and actresses as good as their previous shows. Sometimes that is true. Brian Cranston had with Your Honor a great show and Bob Odenkirk had with Lucky Hank a show what is in my opinion as good as Better Call Saul (but was sadly cancelled after the first season). BUT there is more important stuff than actors and actresses for a good show - writing, directing and lighting is more important. Parish is not one of them, sadly. I stopped watching it after the second episode. If you were looking for a good show after Better Call Saul, please give Lucky Hank a chance.
