Hilarious period comedy. The attention to detail is lovely. A lot of fun.
[Filmin] The sense of humor is sustained in the degree of imbecility to which the characters can reach, and it certainly achieves funny moments. But in the end it doesn't seem to hold onto a solid narrative structure, it opts for gags that look like sketches from a comedy show and, as such, sometimes work better and other times worse. The writing staff also play the main characters, which makes their identification with them especially strong, but there's a sense of indigestion among all the silliness.
