Shawn es un joven muy distinto a los demás. Desde pequeño, su padre, detective de profesión, le enseñaba a fijarse en todos los detalles de su alrededor, incluso hasta en los más nimios. Tanto que sus extraordinarios poderes de observación le hacen ser sospechoso de un crimen que no ha cometido. Sin embargo, gracias a su talento, termina convenciendo a la policía de que se trata de poderes psíquicos. De este modo, el joven se hace pasar desde entonces por un falso médium. El joven Shawn sabe aprovechar su inusual habilidad de observar. Y es que, además de trabajar como asesor de la policía, monta un negocio para enriquecerse a partir de su propia farsa. Con la ayuda de su mejor amigo, Gus, el joven protagonista pone en marcha una agencia de investigación llamada Psych donde, de manera picaresca, intentan solucionar los casos más insospechados, dejando a las fuerzas del orden totalmente impresionadas, aunque siempre quedan los escépticos.

One of the greatest comedies of all time! A must watch!
I have seen this show 3 times and it never gets old!
this is a legendary comedic series from the mid-2000s that never gets old. Shawn with his off the wall antics, Gus and his ridiculous "That's messed up" line, the '80s references. It all just came together perfectly. I've heard it both ways. Where is Dobson?
Partly fun and cute. Sometimes clever, but much too often really childish and purile. I HATED the frat boy mentality that your male mates are your real friends and your "chick" is a "thing", a "piece" that is an add on, not a primary relationship. Also Gus was given an annoying jealous character... It would have been better if they had just got along with being a gay couple... Or at least Gus should have come out... Bit instead it was avoided, leaving them as moronic pre-pubescent children... Sometimes funny, more often annoying.
