Entertaining rom-com centering 4 Black women in Harlem, including an out masc lesbian. There's some hilarity for sure. But some plot directions annoyed me. Overall, binge-able. And I support Black woman productions!
I'm pretty sure I wasn't the target audience for this show about 4 black 30 something women from Harlem but I watched it all enjoyed it and was a bit sad when I heard this wrapped up on the 3rd season. it's a cute bingeable romcom, quite happy at times but still fun and with likeable characters for the most part. I feel we still had material for another season but they rushed to wrap up all the storylines as quickly as they could which left me with a bittersweet feeling. definitely worth a watch.
The 'Sex and the City' reboot we didn't know we needed. Keeps that exact same balance of rom and com through the cast and also allows itself to grow into its sense of humor and each of their eccentricities. Such charm is not to be missed.
