Tirso Abantos es un exmilitar solitario y poco afectuoso que regenta una ferretería de barrio. Tras un incidente familiar se ve obligado a encargarse durante un tiempo de su nieta Irene, una joven rebelde que anda con malas compañías.

Another fantastic spanish tv show protagonized by the beast José Coronado. I recommend it!
Great storyline. Jose Coronado, Luis Zahera and Laura Ramos are all excellent. They each play strong characters, and do so brilliantly. However large sequences of the show are frequently ruined by Nona Sobo’s horrendous acting abilities.
[Telecinco] Uses all the topical resources to build a story that holds the attention, even through stereotyped characters and forced situations. The relationship between José Coronado and Luis Zahera works well because they are two solid actors, but when it deals with the young characters, the script's weaknesses become apparent. There is nothing to discover, in a checklist thriller that introduces the appropriate elements (family, drama, romance, tension...) to try to attract a wide target. It is an option as justifiable as it is not very suggestive.
