Because of the fast pacing and the cheap animation this show got completely ruined. I've read the manga before watching the anime and I can say that it is lot better than the anime. Both of them has the same "isekai cliché" but atleast you won't have to deal with the awful character designs. Overall I won't recommend anyone to watch this even if you've the time to do so.
A mediocre 6. It's not the worst but that's the most I can give it credit for. It's already held back by lackluster characters but then it also gives you cheap animation. The animation is not cheap in that it looks bad...it's that they use still frames for seconds on end and reuse the same combat animation 3 to 4 times in the same fight.
This show is a vibe. Very chill, yet fast-paced with lots of fights, no romantic parts at all....just a very OP MC who likes to keep it moving, eat good food, and hang out with his tamed animals which mostly consists of a large variety of adorable slimes, each with their own personality, and Proud Wolf. There are a lot of very funny parts, but I wouldn't call it a comedy. It's almost as if the people that made this were fans of CSI: Miami, there's moments with these dramatic pauses and one-liners with the camera zooming in...it had me cracking up, and reminded me of that show. Even Proud Wolf gets his moment, with the sea crashing behind him....lots of laughs. Where you get let down is when they go cheap on the animation, that's really the only thing holding it back from a better score for me... There are cool artwork moments and even some cool animation moments, but some are used repetitively and you can tell when they cheap out on fight scenes....cutting away from the action. The story was good, and like I said the pacing was fast...everything that I enjoy. Definitely in for more of this, just hope they loosen up the purse strings a bit.
This anime knows what it is. And it was pretty good at doing it. Decent graphics too. The slimes he controlled all have their own personality and design, and he can use magic through them. I really enjoyed this one.
