It feels like they tried to make a mashup of Marvel, Robot Chicken & Despicable Me except it's not funny or entertaining.
Personally, I did not find this entertaining at all and I'm a huge Marvel geek. I think if they went non-family sitcom style and just made a comedic version of MODOK fighting with the cherished Marvel catalog I would have loved it probably. I just didn't laugh really and if you don't have a deep knowledge of AIM and MODOK you will be even worse off. (like my girl) Too hardcore of a reference to make average fans enjoy.
Surprisingly good show, great voice acting, unique characters, unpredictable and entertaining. Unlike other people even after watching 12k episodes of TV I'm not jaded and don't try to find reasons to dump on something, I watch things because I want to enjoy them. If you like Venture Bros you'll probably like this!
It’s nice to see Marvel do an adult animated show. I don’t think this show is great, but it does have its moments where it makes me laugh. I’m hoping that this show at least does well enough where Marvel won’t scrap the idea of doing any adult animated shows in the future.
It's like pinky and the brain in that it's about someone tiny trying to take over the world. "I indented a time machine." ... "You misheard me. I didn't say I invented it." The episodes aren't very meaningful, and that makes the show less interesting. And if you watch till the final episode you really feel let down at the way it ends.
