Its main virtue is also its most notable flaw: Isaki Lacuesta's direction turns a musical biopic into a kind of dream journey that, however, becomes a proposal that is as aesthetic as it is distant from the characters. The result is a film that tries to find a different way to tell the story of a different music group, but which ends up interrupted by a feeling that we are not being told anything, by an empty discourse that is more interested in the hallucinogenic trips of the protagonists than in really defining them.
