I ended up watching this with my wife, because she loves this movie. It was ok. It’s basically a very run of the mill chick flick about a bad boy getting his life together when he finally unexpectedly meets his princess.
One of the great dance movies.
I watched this a long time ago, then again a few years back. I still really enjoy it! Great dancing and Channing Tatum, too!
The vibes in this movie are just immaculate:dancer_tone1:✨ Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but I seriously felt like Tyler outdanced them all. Maybe that’s just my delusional ass speaking cus that man could literally STEP ON me and I’d say thank you, but I honestly thought he had such a smooth and addictive vibe to his dancing that I could just watch him for days. Lastly, Mac seriously has to be the worst friend in the world. He really had nothing but the AUDACITY. I mean, imagine your friend saves you from the cops, takes the fall completely, and has to serve 200 hours of community service for you; you would think you’d be grateful, right? But nah, not Mac though. He literally gets ANNOYED over Tyler having to spend time at community service so much (like wtf??) and then even gets ANGRY because Tyler decides to chase his dream and passions instead of playing basketball with him at a playground. Who does this dude think he is? How self-absorbed can you be? Someone needed to slap him, fr. P.S. Skinny was honestly so painfully annoying and mentally challenged, I genuinely didn’t even remotely care when he died. That whole family was just whack and Tyler deserved better
Except for the final dance, this looks aweful. Channing sure is well build, athletic and so forth, but his.dancing was just painful. The entire character is so exagerated (e.g. dumb, selfish, unsteady,...), that I find it hard to believe Nora would fall for this guy. She is an intelligent fand driven young woman, she feels like a character who should have better judgement....
