¡Queremos marcha, marcha!

One of the funniest computer animated films I ever saw: some animals from the "NY Zoo" are released to an exotic island. Now they have to survive "in the wild" and on their own. Hilarious!
Classic film that definitely feels different watching as an adult compared to being a child, I remembered it very differently. Overall it was good, obviously as a children's film some stuff you can tell that it was for the kids, the humor etc. Even though I enjoyed it, it wasn't amazing or breathtaking. I look forward to reliving the sequels. 6/10 27/03/2019
Very funny animated film about animals who "escape" to end up being stuck somewhere else! Great voice actors, colourful scenery and you cannot beat the lemurs!!!
This is proto Illumination, it’s not the Dreamworks that gave us _Shrek_. The script is so dumb and watered down script that even the target audience will know where everything’s headed after the second scene. The animation is technically and artistically incompetent, nobody in their right mind would guess this came out after _Finding Nemo_ and _The Incredibles_. There’s zero personality to the design and the visuals generally look blocky and unpolished. Music and score are used in a way that’s undeniably kitschy, it’s constantly telling the viewer how to feel in the most lazy, obvious way. The voice actors add nothing to these roles, you could replace any actor and it wouldn’t make a difference, because not even Sacha Baron Cohen and Ben Stiller can sell this material. Even the occasional joke aimed at the older audience (such as the _American Beauty_ reference) falls flat. The only stuff that’s moderately effective is anything involving the penguins, despite the whole bit being a clear _Oceans 11_ rip-off (again, we can blame the music for making that connection way too obvious). 2/10
Woulda been an 8 if David Schwimmer got poached
