This Sean Penn documentary on Ukraine was very well done. What began as a story about President Zelenskyy becomes a war origin story and the rise of a true leader. We need to realize that Ukraine’s fight is our fight. For freedom. For democracy. It’s very inspiring. Well worth your time. Slava Ukrainii! I watched on Paramount Plus.

It's hard to enjoy a film when you're constantly reminded of its underlying propaganda. The characters are thinly veiled caricatures of real-life figures, portrayed in such a way that they seem more like cardboard cutouts than genuine human beings. Their dialogues are riddled with one-sided rhetoric that only serves to reinforce the film's biased perspective. The cinematography and special effects may be visually appealing, but they are ultimately tools used to distract the audience from the shallowness of the storytelling. The action sequences are exciting, but they are a mere facade for the movie's true intentions. Superpower 2023 attempts to exploit a sensitive and important subject matter for its own gain. It's important to approach any form of media with a critical eye and question the motivations behind it. Sadly, in this case, it's all too clear that the filmmakers were more interested in pushing their own agenda than in creating a thought-provoking and genuine cinematic experience. In conclusion, Superpower 2023 is a prime example of how movies can be misused to promote propaganda and distort the truth. Rather than delivering on its promise of entertainment, it leaves the viewer feeling manipulated and deceived. This is not a film I would recommend to anyone seeking a genuine and unbiased exploration of its subject matter.

33% through the current movie and it's literally nothing but people trash talking Russia and why Ukraine is good... There isn't any depth at all and purely propaganda.
