[IFFR'22] Yamasuki talks about the sense of belonging and the transformation of a Japan that, even in the smallest towns, has accepted the irruption of multiculturalism. But this feeling of not belonging to a place is not only present in immigration, but also in the inhabitants themselves. And this representation of survival in hostile terrain, as the yamabuki flower survives among the rocks of the mountains, raises a more than interesting reflection on contemporary society.
