A very beautiful and visually appealing film; however, the plot and subject matter are quite difficult to understand. It’s pleasant to watch, but you shouldn’t expect any miracles either.

Like the kind of movie I would make, but still pretty good anyway. It's an earnest indie effort about a clandestine Belarusian in the French foreign legion and sibling Nigerian revolutionaries whose lives intertwine. There are some unnecessary gimmicks and some heavy symbolism (I'd be all over those if I were a filmmaker) but the film's sincerity tip the scales in its favor.
