Definitely not the most memorable action movie of the 90’s plot wise. The musical score is so good that they used it in Scream 2 though. Action wise the movie is fun too. Travolta and Christian Slater are quite good here as well. It might have been more fun though if they were partners throughout and not adversaries. Since they actually have good chemistry. Or at least more screen time as partners before Travolta showed his true colors to Slater. Christian Slater and Samatha Mathis are good together until it feels like they want to kill all the bad guys, to go have sex somewhere. Especially when they start saying sexual things to each other in between killing bad guys. Fun fact: This is probably one of the only movies critic Gene Siskel gave thumbs up, to change his mind to thumbs down. Due to Roger Ebert changing his mind.
A typical John Woo film: over the top acting, plot, action and explosions. Enjoyable but hardly great. Switch off brain, ignore the plot holes and watch.
This is a fun movie....but not deserving of that dope ass score.
It as my first English movie! :')
