At the center of this movie are some good and sweet intentions but.... wow. Just wow. This movie is a hot mess. Was there an editor? How about someone to review the dialog? Emma Kenney's character seemed to have been added as an afterthought. When she was first on screen I wondered if she was a figment of his imagination and then later on it was shown that she wasn't as she - quite inexplicably - suddenly had feelings for a guy she didn't even know.
