[DOK.fest '22] Jeanine Meerapfel uses a style close to Chris Marker and Marguerite Duras to ask us how memory can be represented through a journey around the places where her mother lived. It's a personal story but also a political look at Nazism in Europe and dictatorship in Argentina. Meerapfel superimposes the photographs on the current landscapes, writing the past in the present and "filming what is not seen".
