This documentary does a good job highlighting the woman that Shelley was and giving us a sense of what she could have become. While I thought Waitress was overrated you could definitely see the potential that she had. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHateBadMovies.com
I remember when Adrienne Shelly died. It was a shock that somebody so young and talented could be snatched away from both her family and the audiences that admired her. This documentary by her husband reflects on her life and the loss that was created when she was killed. It’s a sad film and a powerful one, especially in the moment when, years after her death, her husband gets to talk with her killer. A moving tribute and a reminder of the talent we have all lost.
