It's a joke. At least you could have ended it with a conclusion. It's a frustrating movie. Mediocre

What a bizarre movie. So they decide to make a movie based on a true story, but there isn't really that much happening in that true story so they just focus on this random stuff like the boy she's interested in, family fights and just this minutia of regular life... Then I guess they just sprinkle the movie with random kidnappings? I guess also the kidnapper had a partner\father working with him? Okay? It all felt a bit pointless.

Listen parents or future parents if your child tells you they're being followed by a creepy man in a white van listen to them even if they lie a lot it's better to be safe than sorry

It's as if this was written and directed by someone who'd never seen a movie before. This wasn't even a story. There was nothing to this at all, which made no sense, since it was based on real-life events. Besides there not being any story, there was no suspense, and in the early going, the constant scene-to-scene switching from the protagonist to the antagonist was agonizing. The score was also terrible.
