The world of Argentine football hooligans is terrifying and the movie shows it without filters. There's violence, there's tension, there's that atmosphere of "anything can happen to you here at any moment". The problem is that the pacing drags in some parts and Cato as the protagonist doesn't quite hook you completely. [SPOILER] The character's downward spiral is predictable but effective. What starts as a dream of fame ends in nightmare, and the movie isn't afraid to be raw about it. [/SPOILER] As a portrait of the barras bravas underworld it works, but as a personal story it falls short. Interesting for those who are into the topic, but it's not something I'll remember in a year. But what I will always remember is the song Loco, it's incredible...
