Nick Cage can no wrong, that's my motto!. No matter how good or bad the movie is, you get 110% Nick Cage, he gives his all, and for that, i will watch any of his movies. I will return after watching this for an actual review.

Some heartwarming father daughter dynamics, a badass cowboy Nicolas Cage and a whole lot of revenge. It's the usual western recipe and it still works although it's nothing original. The characters are entertaining, the sets and costumes look convincing and good acting overall. On the other hand the dialogue is cheesy, the action/shootout sequences are unsatisfying and there's some jarringly weird writing decisions. Overall a very average western with an anticlimactic ending and nothing memorable... except that we got cowboy Nick Cage in the "Nick Cage can play any character" extended universe.

Nicolas Cage is out for revenge in _The Old Way_. The story follows a former mercenary who’s settled down and started a family, but returns to his old ways when a group of bandits kill his wife. Cage gives a solid performance and has good chemistry with Ryan Kiera Armstrong. But the plot is formulaic and follows the usual tropes and clichés. And the villain is underdeveloped, and his plot is left kind of vague. Yet despite its problems, _The Old Way_ is a solid western revenge tale.
