Love the chemistry between Rogen and Streisand but this movie wasn't as funny or sentimental as promised. It ended up being remarkably uninteresting.

It is a horror catastrophy played out as a nice mother-son road movie. Poor guy is being eaten out piece by piece by his always right oh so loving no own life mother. If you have your mother calling you at least once a day, you have to watch this. And do not be surprised if your lovelife, carreer and self-esteem do not exist. Happy ending and wise and professional build up of the character do not help Streisand to make this monster less suffocating.

Terrible. not even remotely funny. At her very best Streisand is annoying as hell - in this movie, she exceeds her natural abilities to grate your nerves by a large amount. If she was my mum I'd have plastic bagged her years ago. Seth Rogan is his usual self. Do NOT waste your time with this stinker. 0/10

Cute. Better than I thought it'd be. Definitely cemented the fact that Seth Rogen doesn't do anything but play variations on himself.
