Is that why they all say they're innocent? Because they think they are. And why? Well, they're actually innocent. Why are we destroying them? They are just unreliable. And there are enemies all around, they can let you down in the future. We apply special methods to them and they confess. Otherwise, we have a legal state. An honest Russian film about why it is so, which you need to watch
[PÖFF'21] A persecution thriller that turns the Leningrad of 1938 into a kind of purgatory in which the protagonist seeks to find his redemption. With an almost expressionless texture, it uses elements of black humor and others full of violence to show a nightmare scenario that works in some way as a parody of patriotic films. And build a coherent portrait of the atrocities of the Stalinist regime.
