[VdR] Following the process of recovering recordings of the communist regime that we saw in "An ordinary country" (2020), the Polish director reconstructs the brutal repression of the protest movements in 1970. Mixing footage with stop-motion animation representing the commanders who ordered the attack, the effectiveness of this resource is debatable, because it distorts reality by creating a kind of fictional story.
