When it comes to martial arts with wire work I can get a little distracted by it and not care for the fighting style. Fearless is one that does it well and I think it might be the best choreographed Jet Li movie when he is using weapons (First of Legend being my favorite hand to hand combat). And then it has an unforgettable ending as well.
The original title of the film is Huo yuan jia.
Another nicely choreographed Jet Li movie, with some brilliant supporting players. Sure, the wire work is obvious throughout, but it doesn't usually take away from it. Some the fighting is just astounding. What does detract from this movie is the poor script. When you have Jet Li playing someone like Huo Yuanjia, it needs a good strong script to fill the gaps between the fighting. Fearless lacks that And even the impressiveness of Nathan Jones can't make up for that...
