Autumn Reeser stars in Hallmark’s _A Glenbrooke Christmas_, a sweet but formulaic holiday film. After being appointed the new CEO of her family’s company, Jessica Morgan decides to take a Christmas vacation to her late parent’s hometown in order to connect with them and fulfill their wish for her to hear the town’s Christmas bells. Reese gives a strong performance, but is backed by a weak supporting cast (though to be fair, there’s a lot of cheesy dialog). And the plot is pretty rote; with everything playing out as one would expect (and rather easily too). Yet the film has a nice message about the importance of traditions and community. _A Glenbrooke Christmas_ has its problems, but overall it’s an entertaining and charming holiday romance.
