Wow. A really captivating and emotional movie! Glenn Close showcases some wonderful talent here; a really beautiful portrayal of the sensitive and timid Albert Nobbs. [spoiler]I can't help but wish this story had a different ending, however. Personally, I would have liked to have seen Albert with Mr Page and their shop. It bugged me that the snotty hotel owner ended up with the fortune![/spoiler] This is such an underrated movie and it really crept up on me, I wasn't expecting it to be such a charming story. Recommend!

Don't you just hate it when the wrong people get rewarded..? It was a very good film, though, and Close is excellent as the shy Nobbs!
