Sinopsis
La joven Lucy Standbridge (Aubrey Plaza) ha heredado la editorial de su padre, pero su ambición como editora la está hundiendo con varios títulos fallidos. Desesperada, un día Lucy descubre que el escritor Harris Shaw (Michael Caine), un autor solitario, cascarrabias y alcohólico que fue un gran éxito de ventas décadas antes, tiene por contrato con la editorial todavía un libro por entregar. En un último esfuerzo por salvar la empresa, Lucy obligará a Harris a lanzar un nuevo libro, embarcándose ambos en una gira de promoción que les cambiará de una manera que no esperaban.

It's somewhat hard to fathom how this movie wasn't better than it was. But there it is.... it was just ok. We've seen the "odd couple from different generations" done much, much better than this movie. Plaza and Caine are wasted in this meandering movie. The script is weak, the chemistry is lacking, and in its attempts to evoke sad emotion, fails to earn any tears.
