Despite the title this isn’t as bleak as it could have been. There are shocking moments but these are countered with scenes that offer some hope amidst the relationship struggle at the heart of the film.

This is an interesting little character drama about the difficulties of marriage and separation. The title of the movie and the opening scene set a tone for a note that is not really reflective of the movie itself.
