Have you seen _Grindhouse_ (2007)? Yeah, this is pretty much a C- _Grindhouse_. Technically, this would be an anthology movie, but really it's just a weak double feature with a wraparound story. This takes place on Halloween night. A couple goes to a video store to rent some "hardcore" horror movies, and the way they are being sold, you'd think they were _Martyrs_ (2008) meets _The Human Centipede Two_ (2011). Sadly, no, our couple rents Pick Up, and Damnation. Now, to be clear, once they pop in the movie, we're just watching it. The first movie is so boring. A guy picks up a girl, they go to a hotel, clothing comes off - not that you see anything - lights go out, then the movie turns into a cross between _Naked Lunch_ (1991), and tentacle porn. Admittedly, I didn't see the twist coming, but the build up and the stupid humor ruined it. The second movie is actually pretty good. It's essentially a women-in-prison movie - think any of the Ilsa films. The story isn't bad, and you could tell it was pulling a lot of inspiration from '70s exploitation films. I would have rather seen Damnation as its own movie, instead of just a part of an anthology. We go back to our couple. The end. There is a post-credit scene. Not worth it. I do not recommend this. If you like low-budget horror, maybe you'll dig it. I only found this because I wanted to see Erin Russ, but she is completely hidden in the background. Bummer.
