Conventional story, poor acting, poor direction, poor cinematography. Even the “villain” does a bad job and the kids totally lack spontaneity. The whole thing as an amateurish feeling that makes it at times painful to watch. You never await much from Christmas rom-coms, just while away a lazy afternoon with a feelgood movie. This does really a subpar job at that.
