Film noir that takes advantage of the atmosphere of the night in Paris, but fails to build a story that avoids the conventional. There are interesting elements, like the hopeless romanticism between two characters who are suffocated, each in his gloomy lifestyle. The director manages to create a melancholic, sordid and dark ambiance, underlined by the electronic music by Rone, winner of the Cesar Award.
