A shot on VHS masterpiece, Loose Cannon entertains. The bad dubbing is magical and sets the mood in this nonsensical, shot on VHS in 2023, movie. This flick has some decent action and fighting scenes for the media it's on, the editing pushes the boundaries of what you can do in camera and shows that even on VHS, CGI plugins for gunfire stink. Movies just aren't made this way anymore (for a good reason). It's like Andy Sidaris discovered a VHS camera and shot a garbage flick over a long weekend. Funny and fun flick overall. It reminds me of the movies we used to shoot in the backyard as a kid. Don't expect much in the way of acting or quality anything in this, you just won't find anything like quality in Loose Cannon. Worth a watch.
