(FILMAFFINITY)

This film is a beautiful queer masterpiece, a gentle, joyful exploration of transformation, finding your true love at a time of great vulnerability, and of nontraditional family structures and bonds.
While not a very _good_ movie, and the plot goes exactly as you'd expect, and the humor is a bit dated by today's standards, it is still amusing and has some good bits that make me laugh. Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger make a great couple, though not as entertaining as in **Twins**. Emma Thompson really shines in this one.
It’s a shame the script wasn’t much sharper for _Junior_ because the cast is great and the tone of the movie is enjoyably light and doesn’t suffer much in the way of outdated viewpoints / jokes (although tbf it’s pretty light on jokes in general). Still, it’s an enjoyable enough Sunday afternoon watch.
"Let's put a bun in your oven." Junior is another Ivan Reitman movie starring Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger and it is nowhere near the level of Twins. It is another weird concept and you get the humor you expect. I really enjoyed the cast. Everyone is on point but it didn't really click for me. I liked Emma Thompson the most in this. She can play clumsy very well. Anyway I never expected Arnold Schwarzenegger to be in a movie like this. I wonder how this came to be. But still, I like Schwarzenegger doing comedies but it should have at least a tiny bit of action. We get Arnold running away from the university cops while being pregnant. We at least got that. So yeah, I can see why people skip this one, but it was not really al that bad. It is not his worst film. But it isn't one that will be high on my list if I every want to rewatch a movie or let alone a Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.
This is a perplexing abomination of cinema.
