Have you heard of a "feel good movie"? well this is not it. the trailer makes the movie look like it will be a cheesy comedy about a coming of age girl that loves to dance and her uptight dad that loosens up with the power of dance... but it was just a very weirdly convoluted drama with no real motivation other than having slow motion close ups and sad moments pile up to force you to feel something. in a dance centric movie the musical parts were pretty lacking and you don't really know how the story ends but you can assume and it's just "eh" overall.
