Pleasant-enough trifle. Fine performances; decent narrative, if a bit predictable. Clear from the start where it would end, but a nice-enough trip.

I really enjoyed the film. Very wholesome, cosy and all about love. Definitely got me interested to read Jane Austen.

Unrealistic and charming enough but entirely forgettable romcom, with very little relationship to Jane Austen beyond a couple of conversations.
