No originality at all. Turned a delightful book and cartoon series into every family movie with a CGI animal made in the last 20 years.

The dog might be big but the quality of the film never matches Clifford's size. Kids will probably like it but they don't deserve a screenplay that relies on poop jokes and adult in-jokes that are targeted towards their parents.

Cute but the villain reminded me of other villains in family films. Pretty similar to the one from the Garfield movie for instance. It also didn’t need a scene of a normal sized dog picked up by a kid so he could smell Clifford’s butt.

Surprisingly good family movie given that it is about a big red dog.
