Sinopsis
Shanghai, 1937. Una bella misionera y un aventurero van tras la pista de un cargamento de opio desaparecido para utilizarlo con fines medicinales. Para conseguir su objetivo, los dos jóvenes tienen que enfrentarse a toda una serie de personajes de los bajos fondos que buscan el alijo.

The funniest part of this movie is knowing they thought they were making some throwback screwball comedy. Didn't work. Madonna is a terrible actress and Sean Penn is unlikable from the very beginning. That said....there's something about this movie that I didn't see coming and was partially entertained by. Like all the hand stuff?! It's like a Sonny Chiba Street Fighter villain. That stuff was kind of fun.
