Based on the fairy tale written by Polish author Maria Konopnicka shows the story of orphan Mary who loses her gooses. With a little help of dwarf named Koszałek Opałek she tries to find Queen Tatra so she could get back her birds. On the other hand there is story of the dwarf who was sended by his king to find some omens of upcoming spring. Because of his long absence the king and his court go to find him on their own. Worlds of dwarfs' and humans' meet each other and get along. Nonetheless the movie is a little bit outdated, with all this strange and sanitized behaviors, stammering characters and unnatural deliberation. The story itself is very well known in Poland, but it may be not the most appealing choose for accidental watchers, even for kids.
