[SVT] A documentary for Swedish public television that offers, through the eyes of his children, the connections between the real life of Ingmar Bergman and his escape to Paris with his mistress in 1949, and some of the later films he made. It mixes archival interviews with new interviews conducted especially with Ingmar Bergman, Jr., showing the places where his father and his mother Gun Grut stayed during those six weeks of escape that led to the divorce of their two marriages. The description of the father's absence experienced by his children is especially moving.
