If you're just out of high school or in your early twenties, then you might appreciate this film. However, considering I don't fall into those age brackets, which is also the case of this supposedly 'young' cast, I wasn't overly impressed with this meandering summer's night of dullness.

Summer Night is a fun and entertaining coming-of-age film. The story follows a group of twentysomethings who are dealing with different life issues as they meet up at a club and party. The cast is pretty good and the film does an impressive job at discussing weighty topics, such as responsibility and relationships, while keeping a fairly lighthearted tone. Also, the comedy is rather clever and the soundtrack is especially well-done and features a number of artists and songs. It’s not without its problems, but Summer Night is a solid film with some interesting things to say.
