Oh there is something good makeup and costume design in this one. A very dream like, haunting image of a sibling rivalry turned deadly. Apparently the director originally wanted to make a less narrative film based on the idea of one girl with schizophrenia believing there are two sisters. While that would have been interesting to see as well, it would have felt more of a cliche than an interesting twist. There is still plenty of subtext based around that idea which, in my opinion, makes the film more interesting. 4 stars.
