Eddie Murphy is his name, and Eddie Murphy has upped his game. If you wanna see something cool and groovy, switch over to Netflix for this superior movie. And it's not only Murphy's comeback that deserves the hypes, because this film also rejuvenates Wesley Snipes! Highly recommended!

An excellent ensemble film. A brilliant turn from a rejuvenated Eddie Murphy. (An extension of his Dreamgirls role in many ways) This film is full of heart, warmth, humour and is clearly made with love. A must see. It's not perfect but it is one of the more satisfyingly enjoyable films I have seen in years. I'd question how effective Wesley Snipes is in the role he plays. It doesn't quite hit the mark. Otherwise, it's very effective across the board - and I'd be looking at Eddie Murphy to win some awards for this. Anywhere where Joaquin Phoenix doesn't get the nod for Joker, it should go to Eddie Murphy. 8/10

Quite possibly the most flat out entertaining film of the year so far, only next to _Booksmart_.

Great cast, and special mention to eddie murphy in a well deserved comeback. The only porblem i have with the movie, it dont show Enough the effect that dolemite had on the black community. But be Side that its extremely fun ride!

Eddie Murphy carries the movie and looks like he having a ton of fun.
