had figured these earlier works would've maybe felt more like humble beginnings or something of the sort compared to Variant and its sequel but nah everything i loved about those was already here. maybe not as suffocating in its sense of isolation and melancholy but even still it's just something else. looking forward to watching all of these together someday. the short lengths will lend themselves to a marathon without needing to do 800 years of planning and adjusting to find the time.
