Interviewers should be more respectful to the interviewees, especially not talk over or interrupt them. Even though documenting the oral history is important, there are too many unnecessary questions. The frivolous voice asking things like “How could you eat that? Just raw?”, “How does it feel like when you are dying?”, “How hungry were you then”, etc., makes me irritated. Way too many “whys” that shows the lack of experience and consideration in covering a historical trauma with film footages.
