Enjoyable thanks to the main trio of Jack Lemmon, Kim Novak, and Fred Astaire (not to mention a sadly underused Estelle Winwood), but it doesn't quite have the polished story and rhythm of other Jack Lemmon vehicles like _Some Like It Hot_ and _The Apartment_. It also feels slightly over long at 2 hours though it's still an enjoyable watch - even if it doesn't quite seem to know whether it wants to be a comedy or a romantic thriller.
