Sinopsis
Boudu es un vagabundo que se tira al Sena con intención de suicidarse, pero un librero Parisiense, Edouard Lestingois le rescata y le acoge en su casa. Boudu es adoptado por la familia, que intenta convertirlo en un señor respetable.

Truly terrible, and not for me. Satires of the bourgeoisie from the era almost never connect with me, and this no exception. Add to the mix a super grating performance from Michel Simon, and I couldn't wait for this to be over. Biggest struggle of the "1001 Movies" challenge for me so far.

Far from Renoir’s best. Mildly entertaining but not much more. Characters and some of the lines are amusing. But was a little bored in the last 20 minutes or so. 6/10
