_Luna_ begins with a bow string pulled violently back and that string stays taut for the entire film. I sat on the edge of my seat during this deceptively low key drama waiting for that string to snap and release its missile, and that tension alone makes this film a good watch. Sadly, when the climax arrives and arrow finally flies it misses the mark somewhat, but the strong lead performance by Laëtitia Clément and the partnership between her and her director (Elsa Diringer) forge a film that grabs you like a fist.
