In _Sparring_, Mathieu Kassovitz plays a boxer who has to fight against a rehashed script (the title of this movie should be _Rocky the Wrestler_, as it borrows extensively from those two films). Kassovitz's dedication to the combat has him consistently taking jabs to our hearts in a knock out performance that will floor you. His skills, the competent directing and a striking soundtrack make for a come-back victory and a film that hits home.
