I love Michaela Coel, she can make me laugh, cry and feel all kind of emotions. I'm not usually a fan of this kind of movies, but it was good. Romantic, fun, I like it.

Musical? Romantic drama? Neither is my thing, so it is was with trepidation that I gave this a go after hearing positive word about the film. While the romantic beats didn't do anything to float my boat, the musical beats did, giving lift to this familiar urban tale. Better than I thought then, and worth a watch, even if you are as adverse to the idea of a musical urban romance as I was.
